Kelsey is a vocalist, pianist, and audio engineer from Nicholasville, KY. She is a new teacher and just received her Bachelors’ in Vocal Performance and Music Technology at Bellarmine University. She is currently working as a voice teacher and digital music instructor in the Kentucky area. Kelsey has also student directed the West Jessamine Middle School A Cappella choir, where she won the Best Student Arrangement Award at Voices in Harmony IV. Kelsey has studied pedagogy and piano performance under Meme Tunnell and Dr. Louie Hehman, vocal performance under Dr. Mary Joy Nelson and Dr. Mark Kano, and jazz studies under Dr. Dave Clark.
Kelsey is familiar with many styles of voice, studying classical, jazz, musical theater, and contemporary styles in university and beyond. Kelsey performed with Bellarmine’s Nouveau Gumbo jazz ensemble for two years, including last year when they performed at Euphoria Studios in New York City for Craig Harris, trombonist and score composer for Judas and the Black Messiah.
