The Northern San Diego Music Teachers Association of California proudly presented the Piano Duet Festival, “Symphony of Two,” a joyful celebration of collaboration, creativity, and community.

Symphony of Many!
Symphony of Many!

It was my honor to chair and organize this special event, which brought together piano students of

different ages and levels, their teachers, and their families. From beginning pianists to advanced performers, every student contributed to a vibrant and inclusive concert.

The thoughtfully selected repertoire showcased a variety of musical styles and abilities. Each performance gave students the opportunity to build confidence, share their accomplishments, and experience the excitement of performing for an audience.

At the heart of the festival was the joy of making music together. Duet performance requires listening, communication, cooperation, and trust. Students developed these skills while working with their partners and joining together for one memorable concert.

Our dedicated teachers played an essential role in the festival’s success. Many performed alongside their students, offering guidance and encouragement while sharing the excitement of the stage. Their participation reflected the meaningful relationships at the heart of music education. Special thanks goes to our amazing judge Anna Grigorian. She made this event very unique and unforgettable.

The event also created treasured family memories. Siblings performed together, parents played with their children, and families shared the joy of live music. These performances brought a warm and festive spirit to the celebration.

Students, teachers, parents, and siblings all shared one stage, creating a powerful reminder that music brings people together. Every participant added something special to the program.

My heartfelt thanks go to all the teachers who prepared their students, performed with them, and encouraged collaboration. Congratulations to every student for demonstrating hard work, courage, enthusiasm, and a genuine love of music.
