Last Saturday, two of our students who won first place in the California Association of Professional Music Teachers competitions had the honor of performing at the 2026 Honors Recital and Gala Concert, presented by California Association of Professional Music Teachers and Music Teachers’ Association of California. The event took place at Mount Soledad Presbyterian Church in San Diego.

The concert featured many talented and inspiring young musicians, including our own students:
Wesley Yang, who won First Place in the Piano Division for ages 10–12
Jacob Wu, who won First Place in the Composition Division for ages 15–17

I am incredibly proud of my students and their accomplishments. Watching them grow not only as pianists, but also as young composers and artists, makes our studio truly special. Our goal has always been to nurture creativity, musical excellence, and individuality, and it is inspiring to see our students shine on such an important stage.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our parents for your continued support and for understanding the importance of music in our children’s lives. Your encouragement and dedication make these achievements possible.
I am excited to continue this journey together and look forward to many more musical successes ahead!
