This week I was surprised by the recording that I received from my motherland! My choir "Cherish Your Friends" with the lyrics by Rasul Gamzatov was recorded and performed at the Music College in Makhachkala, Russia. A very gifted conductor and professional musician Natalia Makeyeva learned and recorded my choir with the students' choir of the Music College named after G. Gasanov. I was impressed by the quality and musicality that Natalia could achieve working on my choir. I hope that this collaboration between composer and the musicians is just the beginning of a bigger project! I greatly appreciate hard work everybody put into performing my music!
